This limited edition of Miyagikyo single malt was released in 2021 as the first edition of the “Nikka Discovery” series. This series places focus on the various experiments in the whisky-making process that Nikka has practice through their history as they approach their 90th Anniversary. This expression is formed exclusively by peated malts, which offers an exciting contrast to the traditional “light and fruity” character of Yoichi. It offers an exquisite combination of bold, peaty notes along with its signature estery hint on the finish.
