Produced with a mash of malted and unmalted barley and then triple distilled in copper pot stills, Redbreast 12 boasts the flavour complexity and distinctive qualities of Pot Still whiskey. This whiskey is matured in Bourbon seasoned American Oak barrels but it is the use of Oloroso Sherry oak butts that provides Redbreast with its signature Christmas cake character. <br> <br> Full bodied, with notes of raisins, prunes, figs and nuts. The world famous Redbreast sherry style is a staple of Irish whiskey.
